4QR Environmental Solutions, Inc. has been providing services in a niche market of environmental consulting and safety project management throughout Georgia and South Carolina since 2004. Since our founding, we have provided project management and consulting that required action as part of environmental regulations. Our projects have received “No Further Action Required (NFAR)” status or been maintained for regulatory compliance at numerous facilities.
The backbone of our work has historically been performing corrective action activities for leaking underground storage tank (UST) facilities and managing hazardous waste primarily for conditionally-exempt small quantity generators (CEQG) and small quantity generators (SQG). As part of our environmental services, we develop environmental programs involving storm water management, spill prevention countermeasure and control, chemical inventory, record keeping and reporting, etc. Additionally we perform due diligence on properties through services such as Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, groundwater monitoring, and waste identification and disposal.
Whether you require a one-time audit or investigation, year-round retainer services, or need continuous step-by-step management, we can develop an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program for your facility. We can work with you on flexible training from the programs we develop or provide pre-designed training on topics such as ergonomics, introduction to construction safety, fall prevention, hazardous communication and the new global harmonization, and more.
Safety in the workplace is a continuous process that not only requires training but program development such as site safety plans, process safety programs, risk assessments and hazardous communication plans. When preparing programs and providing training we understand that good communication and presentation is essential in the experience of the employer and employee. We address regulations in operations and human resource management in our training and programs where appropriate and will design our programs to be flexible with your schedules and specific industry.
Furthermore, we assist companies in finding solutions that get them in the forefront of their industries by looking at where their balance is in the 3 E's of sustainability: economics, equity and environmental. By looking at sustainability in a broad sense, we help companies look at practical and affordable solutions while maintaining their legal requirements and thinking about the future relating to politics, economics, social equity, waste reduction, water and energy conservation, and more. This is because it is not always just about what you have to do, but what you must do to get ahead and gain the edge in business.

Staying Committed and Investing in the Future
At 4QR, we believe that training and staying involved in professional groups and organizations helps us to maintain the highest level of quality. These professional groups allow us to interact with peers in our profession and with regulators so we keep abreast of current environmental and safety issues. In addition, we understand doing business is more than just the ability to perform but also includes obtaining business skills through seminars, conferences and other programs that help us serve our clients better.
To keep knowledgeable about due diligence, we have gone to renowned seminars provided by such companies as ASTM and EDR. By attending Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA), groundwater modeling, and remediation conferences, we keep up-to-date on the latest regulations and technology to proficiently handle leaking UST and other polluted cleanup projects. We maintain awareness in environmental and safety compliance through programs offered through OSHA outreach divisions, Emory (for sustainability), and involvement in various national associations.
